Dr. Rashid Buttar Has Passed Away – RIP 1966-2023
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Dr. Rashid Buttar.
Dr. Buttar was a pioneer in the field of alternative medicine and a tireless advocate for health freedom. He was a passionate scientist, a compassionate healer, and a true inspiration to all who knew him.
Dr. Buttar died on May 18, 2023, at the age of 57.
Dr. Buttar was born in London, England, in 1966. He immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 9 years old. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and religion. He then went on to earn a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Buttar opened his own practice in Atlanta, Georgia. He quickly became known for his unconventional approach to medicine. He advocated for the use of natural remedies and alternative therapies, and he was a vocal critic of the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Buttar was a frequent guest on television and radio programs. He also wrote several books, including “The Cancer Solution: A Revolutionary New Approach to Healing” and “The Gluten Lie: How Gluten Is Destroying Your Health and What You Can Do to Protect Yourself.”
Dr. Buttar believed that people have the right to make their own health care decisions, and he fought against government regulations that he believed interfered with that right.
We are deeply saddened by his passing, and we will miss him dearly.
