“Mustard Plant” is the second generative music performance in an outdoor series called "Plant Music in Nature”. The first of the series will feature in a mini CBC Arts documentary scheduled to come out in the coming weeks. Stay tuned! Mustard is a plant species in the genera Brassica and Sinapis in the family Brassicaceae. The seeds are used as a spice and in herbal medicine, and the peppery leaves can be eaten raw and cooked. The flowers are also edible and have a peppery taste. The plant is connected to the Eurorack modules through a biofeedback sensor which distributes the data from the plant to the instruments, allowing the plant to perform the instruments. . . .
